We are a private company, Avoca Indie Music Events Pty. Ltd. (ABN 18 928 105 736)
We are very passionate about independent music and Musicians, and are sponsoring and running this, our inaugural Music Festival in conjunction with The Avoca Shire Turf Club and The Pyrenees Shire.
Avoca, Victoria - The centre of the Pyrenees.
The venue is the Function Centre and surrounds of Avoca Racecourse.

The event will take place on March 23-24-25/ 2012.
Event times will be:
·Friday --8PM until 12AM
· Saturday - 11:00AM until 1:00AM
· Sunday - 8:00AM until 3:00PM
The Racecourse has excellent facilities for staging a large event such as our Music Festival.
It has a large Function centre capable of seating 300 people.The surrounding external areas support a crowd of several thousand people on race days, with the Grandstand to seat another 300 people and many grassed areas for BYO seats.
1 /. B&B, Hotels, Motels, Wineries.
Local accommodation is available in Avoca, Motels, Hotels, B&B and Self Contained, also a Caravan Park 3 km away. Avoca will be serviced by shuttle bus hourly, during event hours, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

2/. On site camping. This is camping only, an event ticket must be purchased with selected camping option.
· Hire Tents - Tents pre erected with two beds, flooring and a light. Fee = $150.00 Friday -- Sunday. Tent is twin share - (BYO bedding required)
· Tents, Caravans, Mobile Homes, room for all, unpowered sites only. Fee = $50.00 Friday -- Sunday. Site is 3m X 3m and is for 4 people.
Pets allowed in camping areas only. Under normal controls and conditions. No pets allowed into the actual festival site.
Food and Drink Options.
There will be a large variety of food vendors and the venue is licensed – No BYO alcohol. within red line area and NO pets.
· Stage 1 - 12 x 3 meters.
· Stage 2 - 6 x 2.5 meters.
Both will have sound and lighting supplied. The large stage will also have a back-line and drums. The sound and lighting will be managed by a professional team, APS sound and lighting. All sets will be 1 hour though we welcome applications for multiple sets. There will be a place set aside for each act to do a 'sign & sell' session directly after their performance, this can include merchandising and CD sales.
Accommodation for artists will be arranged at Avoca. When applying, the number of people needing accommodation for your act will need to be clearly stated.
On-site access to the stages will be allowed for vehicles while setting up and dismantling your gear. At all other times artists’ vehicles must be parked in a secured fenced area.
Artists are booked on the basis that they organise their own transport to Avoca; however an artists shuttle will run between the event and artist accommodation.
A second shuttle bus is to run every hour between Avoca and the event centre, during, Saturday and Sunday. For pick up and return to access the Town and it's cafe's and shops. The shuttle service is free.
